We think it’s important to keep you up to date about ways you can make your mortgage work for you. So from time to time, we’d like to send you information on products and services we think you’ll be interested in – to help you get the most out of your mortgage.

We want to stay in touch with you, in a way that suits you best. It’s entirely up to you whether you choose to hear from us and how. You can change your marketing preferences at any time and whenever you want.

Keeping you informed

Bank of Ireland (UK) plc and other members of the Bank of Ireland Group would like to tell you about financial products and associated services, such as mortgages, savings, loans and credit cards. This may include offers of new rates, where relevant, that may be of interest to you.

If you do not give consent this may limit the information, products and services we can offer you.

Please note: if you have any other accounts with Bank of Ireland and have provided a different preference to those chosen below, please allow a short period of time for your latest preference to apply.

YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE

If your circumstances change, you might want to add or remove a borrower from your mortgage. We call this a Change of Parties (CoP) or Transfer of Equity (TOE).

Adding someone to the mortgage is treated as a new application. And before removing someone, we’ll need to check the person remaining on the mortgage can still afford to pay it.

Once you’ve applied for a CoP, you’ll also need to appoint your own solicitor. This is partly because adding or removing a name means that the actual title of the property will need to be changed to match the names on the mortgage. Also, an administration fee will apply. Please see our Tariff of Mortgage Charges for further details.

If you’re interested in a CoP, or would like to talk more about what’s involved, just get in touch or call us on 0345 300 8000*.
